TASP 2021 Annual Fall Professional Development Convention Vendor Information

Dear Potential Convention Exhibitor/Sponsor/Vendor:

I am excited to provide you with an opportunity to participate in our annual Professional Development Convention. The convention will take place at the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center in Georgetown, Texas November 4-6, 2021. TASP is currently scheduling vendor booths and space for the upcoming Fall Convention. The convention will cover several topics of interest, so we expect a wide range of professionals, including school psychology specialists, special education supervisors, special education teachers, and counselors. We look forward to expanding our vendor connections in order to offer our members the most useful resources possible.

The Texas Association of School Psychologists holds an annual professional development convention in order to support the continuing education needs of our membership. This convention has been held annually since 1992. Various opportunities are available to the membership during this annual convention including professional development sessions, graduate student poster and paper sessions, opportunities for professional networking during receptions and luncheons, annual awards, and an opportunity to connect with various exhibitors related to the profession of school psychology. We anticipate approximately 600 Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) to attend this year. Other professionals who typically attend our conventions are licensed psychologists, educational diagnosticians, counselors, directors of special education and/or psychological services, university faculty, and graduate students. We are pleased to invite your participation as an exhibitor.

Vendor Booths

Vendor booths are available for $400, which includes a 6-foot by 2.5-foot table in the Exhibit Hall. Each booth space reservation will include convention attendance for two organizational representatives. Booths for universities are $150 each. Additional services are available upon request for an additional charge. Please let the exhibits chair know what the requests are and they will be glad to get you a price. To further promote your organization or business, TASP also accepts door prizes from vendors to provide to the membership. This is an excellent way to increase your exposure at the convention. The vendor display times are from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, and 7:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday. We ask that vendors stay until the completion of the convention each day. A completed registration form and payment must be returned by October 15, 2021 unless alternative plans have been made. Once a request is made for a vendor space, no cancellations will be permitted.

Advertising Opportunities

Commercial/advertising slots are available to purchase for each of the three keynote sessions. Keynote sessions will be on Thursday from 6-8pm, on Friday, from 1-2pm, and on Saturday from 7:45-8:45am. Commercials can be up to 1-minute each and advertisements may include up to three PowerPoint slides. Only three commercial/advertisements slots will be sold this year and are $500 per organization/company.

Shipping Instructions

Information regarding shipping materials to the hotel will be provided.

Please reserve your exhibit space early, as we expect to fill up spaces very quickly. Your place will not be reserved or confirmed until you receive confirmation from the Exhibits Chair and payment has been received.
