This workshop will examine ethical situations that commonly occur for LSSP supervisors and supervisees in the practice of school psychology. Strategies for clarifying roles and expectations, maintaining documentation of supervision sessions, and understanding legal implications will be discussed. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will better understand how to (a) identify effective supervisory structures and professional standards in the supervision of LSSPs, (b) examine ethical and legal issues and their applications to supervision, and (c) use a problem-solving model to examine practical applications of ethics as it relates to the supervisor/supervisee relationship. This workshop is appropriate for both supervisors and supervisees.
